The difference is the pulse speed. Picosecond pulse width is 100 times shorter than nanosecond technology, enabling unmatched results. Traditional nanosecond lasers break tattoo ink into smaller particles (rocks to gravel), whereas the speed of picosecond lasers break the ink into much smaller particles (rocks to sand), which can be metabolised & eliminated easier, faster & with no damage to surrounding tissue.
Some pico lasers that are 750ps don’t have enough power which result in a nano speed. The PicoHi provides a consistent 300ps speed with all wavelengths, which is the highest power available on the market. This means less energy, greater results and a reduction in pain.
